About This Picture...
After cresting the summit of
Donahue Pass, we spent a night in the gorgeous moraine
meadow that stretches down the other side. The next night, we took a small
side trip
up to Edison Lake, where we stayed for a full day, allowing us to recover by
having
a non-hike day during which we could wash our clothes and ourselves.
We each took turns standing by the
lake ,stripping down, and taking sponge baths.
Teresa went last, and no sooner had she gotten naked but a mule train showed up
on the other side of the lake and made its way leisurely down that branch of the
trail.
