About This Picture...

You'll notice I'm carrying my water bottle in one hand, my camera in the other,
and a plastic bag with five pounds of frozen rib eye steaks for our first dinner.

It usually takes a couple of days to figure out how to most efficiently arrange our
packs so that we can fit everything inside and still have easy access to the things
we need the most.

Eventually, I discovered a clip on my pack strap near the shoulder on which to
hang my camera in such a way that the camera strap was close enough so that I
could whip up the camera for a photograph without having to unclip it from the pack.

The water bottle ended up clipped to my belt loop with a carabineer, and the steaks,
of course, were soon consumed and offered no more trouble.
