About This Picture...
This is a pool on the other side of
Donahue Pass, in the vast moraine valley
the climbs up to Thousand Island Pass
on the way to Thousand Island Lake.
The wind was blowing like mad, though
you can see no sign of it in this picture.
I had to keep my hat pulled on
tight with the chin strap, and even then I was
worried it was going to rip right
off my head!
