Hi. For those of you not familiar with
current research, here is an abstract and a address you can further
your need for information.
"J.-N. Zhou, M.A. Hofman and other
respected medical researchers have found that the volume of the
central subdivision of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis(BSTc),
a brain area that is essential for sexual behaviour, is larger in
men than in women. A female-sized BSTc was found in male-to-female
transsexuals. The size of the BSTc was not influenced by sex
hormones in adulthood and was independent of sexual
orientation."
My personal reaction to this was to first try
to disprove it. And my arguement was that women are not as sexually
active as men, but after considering the other point of my personal
arguement, I realized that women are just as sexually active and
agressive as men, women just have to pursue it in 'passive-agressive'
ways. So in that light I have a hard time not agreeing that we
'transsexuals' do in fact have a new scientific tool to aid us in
our fight to be recognized as 'physically handicapped' and deserving
every American right that 'the norm' enjoys.

differences, is http://www.symposion.com/ijt/ijtc0106.htm
